Meet Gillian
Gillian Hanbury is the founder and lead organizer of Home by Hanbury, LLC. Gillian has always had a knack for organizing and design, and at a young age, was the kid who cleaned out and organized her closet on a regular basis. She loved nothing more than to help friends and family do the same. Creating spaces that were functional and beautiful became her happy place for many years.
Out of an eagerness to turn her deep-rooted love and passion for organizing into a career, Home by Hanbury was born in early 2021 in Chicago, IL. During that time, Gillian established a diverse set of clients in the Chicagoland area and across the country – New York, Washington, DC, Wisconsin, and Utah. She had an opportunity to spend a significant amount of time working in Park City and at that time, fell in love with Utah. In early 2022, she made the move full-time and brought Home by Hanbury, LLC to Park City permanently! She takes great pride and pleasure in assisting her clients to create joyful and organized surroundings and feels grateful to have turned her passion into a profession.
Prior to organizing and simplifying clients’ lives, Gillian had a 7-year career in Sales, Marketing, and Events working for a large hospitality company. She holds a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University with focuses in Event Planning, Communications, and Advertising. She was a Division 1 athlete and a member of the women's rowing team as a coxswain. Rowing has always been a huge part of her life. Although she misses spending time on the water, she’s quickly adapted and now relishes all that the mountains have to offer. When not organizing and improving the lives of others, Gillian thoroughly enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, cake decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
